Singapore Flyer Attraction

One of Asia's biggest tourist attractions, the Singapore Flyer is well worth a visit. Standing at 165 meters high, the Flyer offers incredible panoramic views of the island city as well as neighboring Malaysia and Indonesia. Fixed capsules or pods can accommodate up to 28 individuals, and a ride once around takes approximately 30 minutes. The Singapore Flyer was designed by Dr. Kisho Kurokawa and DP Architects. It opened to the public in 2008. Visitors can choose from a variety of experiences, from a basic flight to high tea and a champagne night flight.

Singapore Flight tickets start at $33 for adults, $21 for children, and $24 for seniors (60+). Book in advance and online for a 10% discount.

What is the Champagne Night Flight?

Upgrade to a Champagne Night Flight on the Singapore Flyer for a decadent experience. The 30-minute ride includes a glass of bubbly - Moët & Chandon - plus chocolate and strawberries. You'll also enjoy express boarding. See Singapore in a whole new way, lighting up the night sky. Champagne Night Flights take off between 3 and 9 p.m., daily. Note that children are not permitted on this Flight.

Does the Flyer hold a World Record?

Until 2014, the Singapore Flyer was the World's tallest observation wheel at 165 meters (541 feet) tall. That honor now goes to the Las Vegas High Roller Ferris Wheel, which is slightly over 167 meters (550 feet) tall. Both are taller than the London Eye (443 feet/135 meters). The record is set to shift again when the New York Wheel on Staten Island opens in 2015 (630 feet/192 meters).
